Have you taken all of the necessary steps to ensure that your intangible assets are protected?
You wouldn’t leave your office, factory or workshop unlocked and not secured so why would you leave your intangible assets unsecured and vulnerable to theft?
The intangible assets of a business are often the most valuable but frequently this is not recognised and businesses do not take the necessary steps to protect these assets. This workshop will help you to identify what intangible assets your business has and provide you with the knowledge and tools to defend those assets.
Intangible assets can include knowledge of a manufacturing process, details of customers and suppliers and the intellectual property of the business. As well as being vital to the successful running of your business these can be leveraged to raise capital or revenue for your business but to do this they must be properly protected. This workshop will touch on:
- Dealing with ex-employees: Restrictive Covenants and Garden Leave.
- Intellectual Property. What it is, why you should protect it and how you can use it to grow your business.
- Confidential Information. The steps you can take to protect the confidential information and trade secrets of your business.
