Lucie advises in all areas of landlord and tenant litigation, and in disputes about land and real estate.
Lucie has considerable experience in dealing with lease renewals and terminations in accordance with the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, as well as all pertaining matters such as dilapidations, recover of rent and other arrears, break notices and forfeiture. She advises land developers and estates on matters relating to rights of way, rights of light, boundaries, nuisance and trespassers. She also has a solid background in acting for funds in the ‘build to rent’ residential market, and is a competent advocate in possession hearings and interlocutory applications.
Lucie graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 2006. She qualified as a solicitor in 2013 into the Property Litigation and Risk Management department of Shulmans LLP, in Leeds. Originally from Chester, Lucie moved to Cumbria in 2018 and joined Baines Wilson in December that year.
Lucie lives in Tebay with her partner and two chocolate Labradors.
