Duncan Harty

Position: Partner - Commercial Property Department

Main Areas of Work:

Duncan specialises in all key areas of commercial property work including acquisitions and disposals (including licensed premises), landlord and tenant transactions (including the grant and renewal of business leases), and secured lending transactions. Duncan has a working knowledge of construction documentation and has experience of dealing with residential and commercial development transactions.

Duncan also has experience of advising lenders, sporting clubs, schools and charities.

Career:

Duncan qualified in 2005 having graduated from Northumbria University in 2003 and trained with a local firm.  He joined Baines Wilson in 2006

Personal:

Until recently Duncan played rugby for the First XV at Carlisle RUFC. He now enjoys a social game with the reserve team when time allows. Duncan lives in Carlisle and is married with two young children.
