Andrew Hill

Position: Partner - Head of Corporate

Main Areas of Work:

Andrew has specialised for over 15 years in advising PLCs and owner managed businesses on corporate matters across many business sectors.  Andrew’s expertise covers all aspects of corporate activity including acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, de-mergers and general company law issues, as well as takeover offers, stock market flotations and placings.  Andrew has particular experience of advising clients on acquisitions and disposals and has previously acted for a number of household name PLCs on multi million pound transactions.

Career:

Andrew trained with a niche commercial firm in Birmingham before moving to Addleshaw Goddard in Manchester and subsequently to Pinsent Masons in Birmingham.  In 2004 Andrew joined an East Midlands based firm to set up a new company and commercial team and joined Baines Wilson LLP as a partner in its corporate team in May 2006.

Personal:

Andrew is married and has one son.  Andrew’s interests include playing golf (generally quite badly) and watching most other sports.
