Career

Andrew trained with a niche commercial firm in Birmingham before moving to Addleshaw Goddard in Manchester and subsequently to Pinsent Masons in Birmingham.  In 2004 Andrew joined an East Midlands based firm to head up a new company and commercial team and joined Baines Wilson as a partner in its corporate team in May 2006.

Key areas of Specialisation

Andrew has specialised for over 10 years in advising plc’s and owner managed businesses on corporate matters across many business sectors.  Andrew’s expertise covers all aspects of corporate activity including acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, de-mergers and general company law issues, as well as takeover offers, stock market flotations and placings.  Andrew has particular experience of advising clients on acquisitions and disposals and has acted for a number of household name plc’s on multi million pound transactions.

Personal

Andrew is married and has one young child.  Andrew’s interests include golf and hill walking.
