We are pleased to report that all of our core commercial departments (Corporate and Commercial, Commercial Property, Employment and Commercial Litigation) have again been recognised and recommended in the latest edition of the Legal 500.
Published for over 20 years, the Legal 500 is widely regarded as offering the definitive judgment of law firm capabilities. We have been included since the firm’s inception in 1999.
Legal 500 assesses not only on the basis of size and resources, but also on the extent that clients and intermediaries recommend a firm in a particular area of work. The recognition which we have received in Legal 500 is, therefore, independent confirmation of our continued strength.
Partners John Wilson, Andrew Hill and Joanne Holborn are all also recommended and Commercial Property partner Sean Logue, whose department has again bucked the national trend and expanded during the last few years of economic turmoil, is singled out for praise.
Sean (pictured) is described as “technically excellent” and his team as providing “sound advice in a timely and professional manner”.
Managing Partner, John Wilson, comments:
“We are delighted that each of our departments are recommended once more by Legal 500, particularly as the recommendations are based on independent comments and feedback from clients and the business community. While business conditions are undoubtedly challenging, we continue to remain busy. In part, this is because clients are increasingly not prepared to pay the charge out rates of international, national and large regional law firms.
Our involvement in the recent sale of Different Aspect Software Ltd (a Cambridge based software company to an Australian plc) is a very good example of this”. For further information Click here.
