We are delighted to announce that we have promoted Duncan Harty to Associate within our Commercial Property department and appointed Tom Scaife as an assistant solicitor following the completion of his training contract with the firm.
Duncan joined Baines Wilson in 2006, and during this time has handled a wide variety of commercial property work for leading property companies (both local and national) and entrepreneurs as well as lending institutions, sporting clubs and schools.
Duncan has developed a strong reputation as a results focused lawyer who gives excellent and pragmatic advice to his clients.
Sean Logue, Head of Commercial Property at Baines Wilson LLP said:
“We are very pleased to promote Duncan to Associate. He has made a major contribution to the success of our Commercial Property department over the last few years, and I’m sure he will play an absolutely integral part going forward.
As a department and indeed a firm, we have remained busy throughout the last few years of economic turmoil. This is, at least in part, due to the dedication and determination of our lawyers – like Duncan – to get the best results for our clients.”
Tom spent seats in the commercial property, employment, corporate and commercial departments during his two years’ training with the firm and will now work closely with Joanne Holborn, employment partner and John Wilson, commercial partner.
Joanne commented: “I am delighted to welcome Tom as an assistant solicitor following the completion of his training contract with the firm. Throughout his time with us, Tom has already contributed to the Baines Wilson team and developed a rapport with our clients.”
