Breakfast event on funding a growing and innovative business at Lancaster University

Nearly every business has a funding need, be it for growth, investment or perhaps for working capital. Growing and innovative businesses don’t always fit traditional lending criteria being asset light and often reliant on IP. However, there are many opportunities available for such businesses.

Bay Business Angels partners* are bringing together a host of funding experts at a breakfast event at Lancaster University, to provide insight and debate into all the funding options available to local businesses, with the spotlight being placed on the growing and innovative space.

The morning will focus on alternative sources of finance including private equity, angel investments and local grant providers to name but a few, as well as traditional and well-known local banks.

There will be a presentation from Steve Wall, Equity Investment Manager at GC Business Growth Hub and GC Angels, on the latest access to finance options.

The leading financial advisors of Bay Business Angels will then address key issues for growing and innovative businesses in a round table discussion. Attending businesses will also have a fantastic opportunity to put questions to the panel.

The event is not to be missed for any business or entrepreneur wanting to get a handle on current funding options, as it will provide business owners the opportunity to speak directly to potential funders and discuss their business funding needs.
